2. Veteran Freedom Fighter :
Has been an effective Freedom Fighter from 1930 to 1947. Has undergone imprisonment during Freedom Struggle. Has undergone Sevadal Training (Headed by Dr. N. S. Hardikar). Has extensively toured both in and out of India covering all States except Assam) and foreign countries like Pakistan (Karachi), U.S.A., U. K., and West Germany.

3. Civic Service : Was a Councillor of Bangalore Municipal Corporation for 15 years.


4. Public Services : Was a Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly for three terms. Was a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) one term. Presently, Member of Karnataka Legislative Council.
