7. Karnataka Bank Ltd., Mangalore, since 1948 and continues to be Director of all these institutions even now. Was Director, State Co-operative Bank, Madras, in 1951.
8. After reorganisation of the States in 1956, became Director, Mysore State Co-operative Marketing Society in l956, and continues as such now.
9. Was Director and Executive Committee Member of Mysore State Warehousing Corporation in 1957 and continues as such even now.
10. Member, South Kanara District Congress Committee since 1950 ; was Member, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee from 1950 to 1956. Was elected to the Madras Legislative Council in 1952, from West Coast Local Authorities Constituency as a Congress nominee and re-elected to the Madras Legislative Council in 1954 from Assembly Constituency as a Congress nominee.
11. After re-organisation of States became a Member of the Mysore Legislative Council; on expiry of term in 1960 again re-elected to the Mysore Legislative Council from Mysore South-West Local Authorities Constituency as a Congress nominee.
