1. Participated in Freedom Struggle.
2. Established the Boarder Camps at Hotagi, Goudagaon (near Akkalkot RS.) Dudhani and Ultimately Kesar Jewalaga with others.
3. Shibhiradhipathi of Kesar Jewalaga Camp from April 1948 to September 1948, and fought against Razakars-the Militia of Nizam.

Published a book on the life history of Netaji Subash Chandra bose, under the name "Desh Premi Dheer Senani Netaji Subash Chandra Bose" in kannada on the ocassion of birth centenary celebrations of Netaji (written by S. Nanjunda Swamy) January 1997.
Publishing shortly a book on his memories of Hyderabad Freedom Movement titled as "Hyderabad Horatada Nenapugalu" In Kannada on the ocassion of Hyderabad libration Day Golden jubilee celebrations. (written by S. Nanjunda Swamy)

Visited Cyprus. Rome, Geneva, Paris. Amster dam, Hauge, London. Newyork, Washington Buffalo. Orlando, Honalulu. Las vegas, Losangeles, Tokyo, Hongkong, Singapore from 3-9-1993 to 6-10-1993 to attend 39th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference held at Limassol-(Cyprus) and study tour thereon.
Visited Srilanka. Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philliphines, Australia, Newzeland, South Korea. China. Thailand. from 6th Sept. 1995 to 14th Oct. 1995, to attend 41st Commonwealth Parliamentary conference held at Colombo (Srilanka) and study tour taken thereafter.
Visited China, from 14th June, 1996 to 24th June 1996 on the invitation of Indo-China Association at Beging lead the delegation consisting Ministers, Legislators' and Advocates and visited all important cities and Country side of China.
Visited London. Brussels, Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Berlin. Nuremberg. Augsberg Venice, Rome, Milan, Geneva, Lucerne Paris, and Dubai between 21st July, 1998 to 12th August, 1998 lead the Parliamentary delegation of Parliamentary functionaries and the members of Legislative Assembly and Council of Karnataka Legislature.
