8. Was the Member of Bangalore Agricultural Regulated Market Committee for 4years.
9. Visited Foreign Countries viz., Russia, Hungary, West Germany and Denmark in the year 1978.

11. Elected to Eigth Assembly from Doddaballapur Constituency in March 1985 on Janata ticket and again appointed as Minister for Co-operation on March 1985.
