  4. Was the President, State Adult Education Council, Karantaka.
  5. Is the Vice-President, Indian Adult Education Association, New Delhi.
  6. Member, Board of Studies in Adult Education of Shri Venkatshwar University, Tirupathy and of University of Bangalore and Member, State Road Transport Corporation, Bangalore from the year 1973 to 20th January, 1978.
  7. Travelled in the Countries like France, Engaland, Canada, U.S.A., Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand under the fellowship of UNESCO for the studies in the field of Adult Education from 15th November, 1976 to 20th January, 1977.

  9. Vacated the said seat in favour of Sri. D. Devraj Urs who was elected as Chief Minister of the State.
