1. Practised at the Bar for the period of 27 years. Took keen interest in Scout and Co-operative movements.
2. He was one of the first few scouts of the Boy Scouts of Mysore when the movement was started in 1918-19 and associated with it for over 40 years.
3. Attended the world, scouts Jamboree in 1947 held at Mosson, Paris. Recipient of Silver Gandaberunda, the highest award by the Boy Scouts of Mysore.
4. Medal of Merit won by the Boy Scouts Association of India for services in connection with the world Jamboree.
5. 25 years service badge of the Boy Scout of Mysore.
6. Public Service Medal for services rendered to the Co-operative movement. He has been associated in several capacities with the following institutions.
