Social and Other Activities | 1. Associated with the Indian National Congress started in 1935 and since then remained a loyal congress worker even before the formal recognition of the State Unit of Mysore Congress. 2. Was an active member of the All India Congress under the Leadership of late Sri K. T. Bhasyam (a Founder Member of the Mysore Congress) participated in the year 1939 K.G.F. Sathyagraha launched by the Mysore Congress actively worked in 1939 with His Excellency Sri V. V. Giri (Former President of India), late Sri K. T. Bhasyam, late Sri P. R. K. Sharma and late Sri K. C. Reddy for starting the Trade Union Movement in the State including K.G.F. consequent to which for the first time Trade Union Act was enacted in 1941. 3. Was elected Vice President of the labour Association for activities against the British Government.
