Term Year - ( 1998-2004)

1. During 1983-85 he served as President of Karnataka State Backward Class Development Corporations.
2. He participated in the Las Angeles Olympic meet held in the year 1984 as a Representative of Members of Karnataka Legislature.
3. He served as President of Davanagere City Hamalara association and served for the welfare of labour class.
4. In recognition of his service the Janata Dal Party has nominated him as President of Karnataka State Dry Land Development Board.
5. In the year 1998 he was elected to Legislative Council unopposed from Legislative Assembly Constituency.
