Term Year - ( 1978-1984)

1. During the College days used to actively participate in Literary extra curricular activities like debates and essay writing.
2. Worked as a Lecturer in Medicine in Karnataka Medical College, Hubli from 1964-68.
3. Later joined Medical College, Gulbarga and worked as Honorary Reader in Medicine from 1968 to 1972; and from 1973 to 1976 as Associate Professor of Medicine.
   
4. Was elected on Senate of Karnataka University, Dharwar in 1975 from Teachers' Constitutency.
5. Was elected on Senate of Karnatak University, Dharwar by Legislative Council.
6. Has been taking keen interest in Social Service activities in Gulbarga and Bidar Districts by conducting free Medical Camps in the countryside since 1972.

8. Elected as member of the Karnataka Legislative Council from North East Teacher's constitutency in the year 1978.
9. President of' premier education society (Hyderabad-Karnataka Education Society) from 1979-82 and made all round phenomenal progress during his period, Established numerous Colleges during his tenure and made the society financially sound.
10. Elected Unanimously as Deputy Chairman, Karnataka Legislative Council on 19th July, l932.
11. Elected as Senate member to Gulbarga University on 7th August, 1982.
