Term Year - ( 1964-1970)

1. Was elected unopposed to the Mysore State Legislative Council in 1945 from the Mysore City Women's Constituency.
2. Went to prison in 194 7 Freedom Movement.
3. Elected to the Mysore City Municipal Council for two terms from 1946 to 1948.
4. Was for some time leader of the Municipal Congress Party.
5. Was elected again to the Legislative Council from the Assembly in 1952 and from the Graduates' Constituency in 1958.
6. Was the Joint Secretary of the Mysore Pradesh Congress Legislature Party for 4 years during 1950-54.
7. Has been a member of Legislative and other Governmental Committees like Rules Committee, Subordinate Legislation Committee, the University Senate, Mysore State Council for Child Welfare, Mysore State Council for the Education of Women and Girls, etc.
8. Toured in America and the continent as a leader delegate in 1954 on the invitation of the American State Department.
9. Has sponsored a number of welfare institutions like the Hostel for Girls in Tumkur, Nursery School in Gulbarga, Mahila Samaj at Kampli.
10. Was the Chairman of the Mysore State Social Welfare Board for two years at its inception.
11. Was the Convener of the Women's Wing of the Pradesh Congress for the last three years and the Convener of the 5-man Committee appointed by the M.P.C.C. to study distress conditions in the flood affected areas.
12. Was the Convener of the 5-man Committee appointed by the Legislature Congress Party last year to select members of the Party Executive.
13. Is Ex-office Member of the Working Committee of the Mysore Pradesh Congress Committee.
14. Has been nominated to the A.I.C.C and has worked as member of the Executive Committee.
15. Was Deputy Chairman of the Mysore Legislative Council during 1962-64.
16. Re-elected to the Legislative Council in the year 1964.
