  1. He gave up studies during the 'QUIT INDIA' Struggle of 1942 trained in NAITALIM at Sevagram.

  4. Freedom fighter, Tharnarapaitra holder, suffered imprisonment five times, twice under British Rule, thrice in independent India, Founder Member of the Socialist Party in Karnataka.
