  1. Entered politics through Kagodu agriculturist tenants agitation m 1950.
  2. Started colleges career in Bangalore from 1952 to 1959.
  3. Started practicing in the Bar from 1960 in Sagar.
  4. Ever since entered politics in Socialist Party, associated with keen interest in organising tenants formation.
  5. Member, Taluk Board from 1961.
  6. President, Taluk Board, Sagar from 1967-74.
  7. Elected to Legislative Assembly as Socialist Party Candidate in 1972.
  8. Joined Janata Party in 1977; Resigned from Janata Party Secretaryship and joined Congress (I) Party in 1979.
  9. President, State Amature Athlets Association for 4 years.
  10. He was a Minister for Public Works on February,1980. He was elected as M.L.C. from the Assembly Constituency during May,1980.
