| Position Held | 1. He is a staunch believer in co-operation and devotes most of his time in promoting co-operative activities.
2. Has been Chairman of Bijapur District Industrial Co-operative Bank since 1950.
3. Is also Chairman of the Bagalkot Co-operation Purchase and Sales Union and the Bijapur District Weavers and the Industrial Co.operative Association, Ltd. since its inception. 4. Besides he has been a Director on the Board of Management of the Bijapur District Central Co-operative Bank for the last 10-12 years. 5. Was also Director of the State Industrial Co-operative Association, Ltd., Bombay and Bombay State Handloom Board till the reorganisation of State. 6. He is a devoted Congress worker, a Member of Bijapur D.C.C. and District Development Board. 7. Was elected to the Bombay Legislative Council and has continued in the new Mysore State also after States reorganisation. 8. Was Chairman of the Mysore Legislative Council between 28th July 1966 and 10th June 1968. 9. Re-elected as a member of the Legislative Council on lst July 1968. | ||
