4. Worked in Bhoodan movement; Served as Director of State Cotton Handloom Weaver's Co-operative Society and constructed Weaver's colonies for displaced weavers under Tungabhadra Project.
5. Elected to the Legislative Council for the 3rd time from the Local Authorities' Constituency.(1958-64,1964-70 and 1970-76).
