Conference held during 1949 in London as one of the representatives of India , has toured in the European countries like England, Scotland, Wales, France, Italy, Switzerland, etc. , underwent imprisonment for participating in "Kagodu (Shimoga District) Raita Sathyagraha " during 1951 and also during the strike of sweepers of Davanagere, underwent imprisonment often, during labourers' agitations, took active part in unification of Karnataka, Agitation', etc.; launched hunger strike against many unjust actions and always tries to fight for warding off the injustice, immorality and unrighteousness, established a record in having been elected as the General Secretary of the P. S. P. for the sixth time.

Member and President of several social and sports associations. Best artist; awarded a medal in the Dasara Exhibition held during 1939, a very good public orator.
