Term Year - ( 1954-1960)

1. Entered Mysore Educational Service in 1927 in which he served, for 4 years.
2. Greatly interested in dramatic art, organised a dramatic troupe in 1927.
3. Later joined the famous (Gubbi Theatrical Co., of Natakaratna Sri G. H. Veeranna the management of which was held by him for over 25 years.
4. Travelled extensively in Southern India and established notable contacts in the field of drama.
5. Collected large funds for establishing social,Religious and co-operative institutions.
6. In recognition of his services in dramatics and public service Government of Mysore awarded him the Public Service Medal in 1946.
7. Conducted the Kannada Stage Centenary in Mysore City in 1948.
8. Was awarded the title of 'Natyakala Visharada' by the Maharaja of Mysore in 1949.
9. Member, Mysore City Municipal Council, Member and President of several other educational, dramatic and co-operative institutions.
