Major Achievements in Public Service |

- Working as Chairman of "Sant Shri Sevalal Janmasthana Pratisthana", Suragondankoppa, Nyamathi Taluk, Davangere District.Sant Shri Sevalalis the tallest Spiritual Guru of Banjara Community.
- Implemented the project for supplying of drinking water from TungaBhadra River to Byadagi and many villages of Ranebennur Taluk in Haveri District.
- Implemented the project of providing irrigation facility for approximately thirteen (13) thousand acres of land for GuddadaMallapura and many other villages in Byadagi Taluk, Haveri District.
- Improved the infrastructure of the ‘Chilli Market, Byadagi’ which is one of the largest Chili Market of the World.
- Persuaded Government of Karnataka to withdraw Taxes on Chilli Seeds, which has become a great boon for the Farmers (Annadatha)
- Implemented the construction of APMC Complexes and Municipal Play Ground in Byadagi, Town of Haveri District.
- Successfully implemented various Housing Projects of the Government and allotted houses to thousands of eligible beneficiaries.
- Successfully implemented Upper Tunga Project (UTP) in Byadagi Constituency of Haveri District.
- Tribal and Poor People’s Settlements in Byadagi Constituency were provided with essential amenities like Community Hall, Drinking Water, Sanitary Facilities and other Basic Infrastructures.
- Successfully initiated the Savanur Lift Irrigation Project(SLIP) in the fiscal year 2016-17, with a budget allocation of Rs. 690 Crores. This project has provided Drip-Irrigation Facilities (DIF) to a vast expanse of 15,500 hectares of land, benefiting the agricultural sector in Savanur Taluk as well as replenished and maintained Water-Table in more than eleven (11) taluks in the Region.
- Addressed Drinking Water Shortage Problem in Haveri District and put-in place 24/7 Drinking Water Supply Project Costing Rs.59.92 crores. This work is further in progress
- As MLA during the period 2013-2018, utilized 100% funds under the MLA's Local Area Development (LAD). Also additional grants exceeding Rs. 5000 Crores were availed from State Government for the Development of Haveri Assembly Constituency. These Grants were Utilized for Funding various Developmental Initiatives in Haveri Constituency.
- Constructed six Departmental Hostel Buildings for Weaker Sections of the Society in Haveri District.
- A total of 4966 houses have been allotted to the recipients through various housing schemes such as Indira Awas Yojana, Basava Vasathi Yojana, and Special Category Housing Scheme.
- In Haveri City Muncipal Corporation (CMC) Limits, an area of twenty plus (20+) acres of land was alienated and designated for “Satelitte Town Housing” during the years 2013 and 2018. This work is in progress.
- As elected MLA successfully led Negotiations between ‘Sugar Cane Farmers’ and ‘Factory Owners’, resulting in the Resolution of Internal Conflicts and the Reopening of Sangur Sugar Factory in Haveri District.
- Development works have been carried out using Rs. 50.00 Crores from Special Grants under Nagarotthan 3rd Phase, and Slum Board Development Grants for various Developmental Works in Haveri District.
- Constructed ‘New NWKRTC Bus Stand’ in District Headquarter Haveri City.
- Constructed New Post Metric Hostels for Engineering, Professional, Nursing, and OBC Students in Haveri District.
- Basic infrastructure such as Roads, Bridges, Market Yards, Offices, Drainages, Drinking Water Projects etc were initiated and completed in Byadagi Constituency and Haveri Constituency.
- Various Villages in Byadagi ad Haveri Constituency were transformed as “Model Villages” using Suvarna Grama Yojana, Grama Vikas Scheme and various other schemes of Central and State Governments.
- As Minister of Muzrai Portfolio, initiated various new Schemes and Programmes as well as approved Construction of new Temples as well as Rejuvenation of Ancient Temples.
- As Minister of Muzrai (Endowment) Portfolio has initiated Karnataka Bhavan’s in various Holy Shrines across the country.
- More than eleven (11) educational institutions have been established and successfully managed in Haveri District from primary level to higher education level. The following Schools and Colleges are being managed by the Bharatiya Adimajati Sevak Sangh (B.A.J.S.S.);

- Served in Co-operative Sector in various capacities and supported youngsters to evolve as leaders in Co-operatives Sector
- Leading the legal process of according Constitutional and Statutory Recognition to the ‘Banjara Language’
- Passing a Resolution in Both Houses of the State Legislature to include Banjara Language in VIIIth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
- Considering Banjara Language as One of the Sub-Language of Karnataka State.
- Exploring the possibilities of declaring ‘Banjara Language’ as one of the classical languages of India.
- Issuing Government Order/Notification in respect of Script and Numerals for Banjara language.
- Publishing Text-Books in Banjara Language.
- As Deputy Speaker, working for Initiating path-breaking and epoch-making policies and legislations for the overall well-being and development of the people of Karnataka State.
